DISC GOLF

For nearly 40 years, one of Charlie's great passions has been the sport of Disc Golf.  In addition to an illustrious playing career which saw him hold World, European and British titles,  Charlie has played an instrumental role in developing the sport across the UK and Europe and is currently Chair of the World Flying Disc Federation Disc Golf Committee.

Charlie's expertise in course design and tournament organisation has found its fruition at South Worden Farm. In 2019 the farm played host to over 40 leading players from across Europe for the inaugural South Worden Farm Disc Golf Championship.  The tournament was a great success and will invariably become an annual fixture for keen disc golfers looking for a unique and challenging tournament to play in the beautiful North Devon countryside.

For guests staying at the farm, there is a Disc Golf basket available to try your hand at this highly addictive sport and by arrangement, you may even be able to get some expert tutelage.

In the future there will also be a 9-hole pay to play course that will also be open to the public.
